Haven’t posted in a while. been doing lots of awesome family time. violet is the best and it’s really hard to make myself get up and work when she’s snoozing next to me. something about sleeping babies just draws you in to sleepy-ville.
Convinced myself to go to GenCon. Just need to buckle in and get to some work. I’ve got 3 or so things in the works and i’m just going to do them MY way. how I want…not how i think someone else wants. If no work comes from it, so be it. i want to make the art that i want to make and if the game industry doesnt like it, tough. i’m (hopefully) done with trying to be like the illustrators they’re already using. we’ll see if. first thing is actually getting the pieces done.
had a great holiday weekend with Casey and Violet so I feel recharged and ready to go. amazing what some down time with the family will do for the brain.
might be a while before another post, trying to get this crap done. hopefully it will be sooner than later though.
